Perennials

Perenniels are plants that grow from permanent roots, rhizomes, corms or bulbs, but in many species the upper parts die bake completely for part of the year. Many of our wildflowers are perennials, but horticulturalists have gathered perennials from around the world to produce some of the best known garden plants. Numermous perennials are important to bees and other insects.
